Sales Representative Training, Tools & Resources

When you join the Merchant Processing Company team as an Independent Sales Agent (ISO), you’re given all the tools you need to succeed! This includes comprehensive training, a Merchant laptop and much more.

Prior to joining our sales team, recruiters will thoroughly go over the job requirements and expectations with you. This will ensure you have a clear understanding of your role with Merchant.

Once you’ve decided to become an ISA, you’ll participate in comprehensive online training that can be done on your schedule. The online training lasts approximately 2-3 hours and will teach you all you need to know to be a successful agent.

Following your online training, you’ll receive a Merchant laptop. You’ll then participate in a quick laptop training call with a Merchant trainer. This call will educate you on how to work the laptop, as well as how to use it for maximum benefit.

In the last step prior to joining the sales team, you’ll participate in a 30-minute call with Merchant’s VP of Sales to review all that has been covered and to answer any remaining questions you may have prior to handling appointments. You’ll then be assigned to a sales team and can hit the ground running with appointments and earning commissions – all within one week from your first contact!

With Merchant Processing, you’ll be able to continue your training whenever you’d like. We offer ongoing training that will enable you to continue to grow and add to your success. In addition, there are on-going training opportunities with Sales Managers on topics including handouts and role-playing opportunities.
